APA STYLE 6 EDITION REFERENCING

Book
The name of author ‒ when we write the name of author, we should write the family name of the author first, and put the comma. Then, we write down his first name but it just the initials and put the period at the end of the initials.  The year of publication‒ we write the year in the brackets. Title of books‒ italicized. Place of publication: publisher.
Example: Azar, B.S. (1999) Understanding and Using English Grammar.  New York: Pearson Education
Electronic Book
The name of author‒ the family name first and initials (as in the process above). The year of publication‒ if it has no the year of publication, just write (n.d.) no date. Title of bookitalicized. Website address‒ retrieved from
Example: Stevens, K. (n.d.) The dreamer and the beast. Retrieved from http://www.onlineoriginals.com/showitem.asp?itemID=332
Web pages with author
 Author of pages‒ person or organization. The year page created‒ written in brackets. The title of page‒ italicized. Web address‒ retrieved from
Example: Atherton, J. (2005). Behaviour modification. Retrieved from http://www.learningandteaching.info/learning/ behaviour_mod.htm
